I have the Browning 8'6 MH six rivers spinning and I'm real happy with it. With the long length I can really load the rod up and cast a good distance without having to swing the rod around to much. I use it mainly for crankbaits and it sets the treble hooks better on the stripers with the MH action. I also have the Fenwick 8'3 HMX ML which I also use for crankbaits. With it being a ML I get a lot more action on my lures and it seems I get more bites too, but I lose more fish with it too. It doesn't set the treble hooks like the Browning. I can use much lighter line on it and it does cast a lighter lure further. It also has aluminum oxide guides which I definately like over ceramic or any other guide that isn't metal. When those ceramic guides get banged around they break and you can't use them. Aluminum guides just bend and you can still use the rod.
My favorite rod I have is a Fenwick Elite Tech 6'9 M. I got this rod at Pro Tackle and its the nicest rod I've ever owned. That store has a lot of sweet rods you can't find anywhere else.
