The most unusual thing that I have hooked was a three foot alligator. I was popping a mouse across my dads pond in Florida and this alligator came up and snapped at my mouse. I fought it for along time. I got it to the bank but then it stuck its feet in the mud, did a death roll and straightened out my hook.
