I too have landed birds, rocks, and a nice sage 5wt on the teton river [cool]-still using that one[
]! Strangest was on the Good News river in Alaska...thought I had a small lazy fish...had actually caught -in the mouth-old rotting king carcas...yea, didn't live that one down the rest of the trip! BTW-one of the birds was a bald eagle that got rapped in my line after catching a nice bow on a mouse pattern-he flew down and snatched my fish and got tangled up....cut the line!!
