Yep. The difficult thing for for me with forums and emails is not to be able to talk face-to-face and hear voice inflections and body language. Sorry to focus on what I thought the question must have been!
Better said, this not the ususal time of the year to fish dries for stoneflies. By the way, a nice bushy Adams will probably work wonders.
The reason sunny, warm works for all stoneflies is stoneflies are poor fliers, don't due well with wet wings, and are in a mating/egg laying mode over the water. Otherwise they are in a nymphal stage migrating to the shore line where they hatch on a rock or vegetation.
