From the Air Force ramp, veer left, or north, a few hundred yards, and head out about half way to the other side. Or, much easier, look for the other boats anchored! If you zigzag out there you will find the area. It gets real shallow, maybe 13' is all. Sometimes they are on top of it, and sometimes off to the sides. Every imaginable species can be caught there: trout, bass, crappie, perch, and bluegill. If there aren't boats out there, just ask someone. It isn't a big secret!! Good luck, Michael. Mike
