Crankbait rod

I do have a tanno cover for my truck with a tail gate lock so I'm not really worried about it getting stolen I just have the short bed (5'5" I think) and I think I can only fit a 7' pole back there if I bend it. I have a pretty long trolling rod at my house maybe I will see if it fits back there. All the rods I own so far are two piece and I have had problems with one of them losing the tip and having to reel it in, its hard to catch fish that way. haha
If i can get it to fit back there in a case I will go for a one piece but if not I'm going to have to cut my losses and get a two piece.
