GoT, not seeing the pics and judging by the thread I'd have to guess this fish in the 40 lb range. I'd take a skin mount over a glass one any day and there is a difference. Some do a very nice job on glass but my experience is that you can't make a piano out of a box. Do what you will with it because it's really your choice and most likely the exception to the rule. I can guarantee that if I pick one up in the 50 lb range it's going on my wall as a skin mount. I'm yet to take a big boy home and my buddy gets pissed when I carefully slip them back into the water but what the heck, it's my choice. There are lots of people out there catching big fish in numbers and putting them back, and you'll always have some that get all butt-sore over the few that are killed. Sure, if you're going to release it hold it gently but if it's a keeper who the heck cares. Years ago my father and I were on a roll with the tigers at PV, out of 600 a piece we kept one each which is on our walls, sure we were butt-hurt over some of the fish that were killed because we felt everyone should follow our lead but there'll always be tomorrow. When you mount it and I hope you do, I'd like to see it on this site. Skeet
