My wife had to work today so I went to Twin Lakes to waste some time. I dug a couple of holes and was fishing in 14 feet of water, it was snowing so I put the tent up and turned on the heat. The water was clear enough that I could see my bait. It kinda made me upset, because I could see the fish come right up to the bait and leave like there was no tomorrow, it didn't matter if the bait was being moved or just sitting there.
When my wife goes she baits her own hooks, and from my standpoint doesn't do that good of a job. Hooks showing using worms that are ripped to shreds, stuff like that, but she will consistently outfish me.
Do you guys or gals use anything to cover your scent and if so, what would you recommend?
