I use my LCD graph from the boat all the time on the ice, It is about 5 seconds slower than a flasher when showing a fish and a bit longer to see how big it is. I have mine scroll as fast as it will go. Some times that time lag will cost you a fish or two if you are not ready. I do like that a graph will have a record of what happened for a short time in case you were not watching it all the time. I split my screen to zoom in to a 20' area on one half. A vexlar is much more user friendly on the ice with knobs to quickly make adjustments vs finding it in a menu on a graph. The zoom is great when moving between holes and looking at the bottom. One day I will get a Vexlar.
