Hi guys,
No I don't have my tube registered with this cordless drill drive, and not to worried about it. The Drill can easily fit in a pocket on my tube and prop is really not noticeable.
I made the shaft from a 3/8" all thread rod becouse that is the size of hole in my prop. The all thread is 23" long and the 1/2" pvc pipe is19" long. I drilled a hole through one end of the all thread about 1" from the end for the shear pin to go through. I used a piece of 8 gauge copper wire for the shear pin. I put a 3/8 nut and washer on one side of the shear pin and a nut on the end of the prop. I slid on the 1/2 inch pvc on shaft washer and another nut. leaving about 1" of shaft to hook on cordless drill. You simply hold onto the drill and stick prop in water, I never pull a skier, ha. but it gets me from one end of the pond to the other with little effort.
