Had a buddy of mine tell me he had caught some nice fish from the bank in the last couple of days...made him prove it today-and prove it he did! Landed 9 between the two of us--he caught two browns that were just over 4#s each! Fished open water-small bobber, 6-8 ft of leader and either a worm or gulp (white) bait. Bites are super soft..had to notice a hesitation from the natural drift of the bobber due to the breeze/waves and "set the hook"! We had a great time-first for me on that lake...normally I catch maybe one trout and a bunch of chubs!![]
