Welcome to the boards. I assume you mean the Gem Lake Dam south of I.F.??? The best fishing is below the dam when the ice permits. There used to be some guys that would keep a large tent down there on the ice. I was talking to the water master and they had to test the gates. They tried for two days to locate the owners who only fish at night. No luck so rumor has it they washed it away. Travel light as you have to cross a lot of rocks to get down there but the fishing for Rainbows and Browns can be very good at times! Always listen for the Warning Horns. The do release water from time to time!
