Johnson/Lamont Reports?

prvrt, my son and I visited Johnson Res on Tues. 12-22-09. We got there in the morning and fished the upper bay of the res. We fished near shore on the opposite side from the parking area in about 10 feet of water. Found plenty of fish moving thru our fish finder. Used small jigs tipped with wax worms. Caught a few small perch and bluegill about 5" long. Later moved in the direction of the dam. Fished straight out from the boat dock just south of the upper parking area and out about 75 to 100 yrds from the boat dock. My son caught two 9" perch using a jig and wax worms and one small 5" perch and I caught one 8" rainbow trout. Slow day. The perch were right off bottom and in deeper water (23').
