My Bad, I knew it was fly fishing only.
Absolutely, and I am sure there was allot of played out fish, just saying that isn't my style.
And yes, I can thread a 6X fluorocarbon (3.6 lb test) through the eye of a #32. I just use a surgeon's loop so the fly can wiggle.
If a fish is too strong, it will straighten or break the hook long before the play out.
I have seen some nasty effects from fish being handles with dry hands or basically too much.
But, in defense, I am just saying not all is equal, so to say light tackle is a bad thing isn't always true...again it is the person, not the gear.
