Having had a house in Pine Haven in Island Park for years I can tell you that C&R on light lines such as fly tippet kills hundreds of fish from exhaustion. We used to have to go down to a tree fall below the house and pitch fork tons of dead trout out of the wind fall. This on a fly only C&R river. Our theory was that fish were played to long on these lighter tippets causing such a high rate of mortality.
My previous comment about fishing when past your limit was in reply to the post about Utah allowing C&R when you are limited out.![[Image: dumb.gif]](http://www.bigfishtackle.com/images/gforum/dumb.gif)
