Canyon Lake Guide Report

I am going to have to visit that lake some day.On a trip throught Austin the other day a met a man at a gas station pulling a huge cigar type boat with a fancy paint job.I talked to him a little about it. I said he had a slip at canyon lake.The boat was 42 feet long and had three 455 hp inboard motors.I said would it run about 80 mph and he said more like 100 mph.Iv'e never tried or caught a fish running that fast but I bet it woulod be tricky. LOL
