not sure why you think your waving your rights when you buy a fishing license, you still have your right and they still have to have probable cause to be able to check your home. there are plenty that dont buy fishing licenses that could have there houses searched just as easy and they didnt wave there rights by buying a license [sly]. but i get what your saying. i think half of the problem is its who you are talking to and what i am meaning is which officer, biologist, f&g office.[/quote]

Check out the laws in every Western State. The same law that makes your vehicle subject to search at a game check with no probable cause also makes your house subject to search. This has been dissected tirelessly on 20 other boards as well. Do a google search or better yet read your regs.
