ice fishing slammers and automatic jigging devices?

Couldn't you put a spring under your PVC on a platform with the line being threaded around a trip wire. The fish pulls on the trip wire which then would come off of the hold down letting the spring do it's work. You wouldn't want to strong of a spring or it would launch your rod across the ice!

I've use lake trolls on a separate rod before but I do like the idea of spinning the metal fish and having them continue to move!
