[fishin] Ovid Creek I might have some info. useful to your Devil Creek kokanee info request. All the kokanee I have seen caught at Devil Creek Reservoir in the past has been on the east side of the reservoir, at the dam end about 30 feet off from the point at the mouth of the bay in the extreme sotheast corner of the reservoir. The point actually extends and continues under the water pointing approximately southwest. Where it drops off underwater to about 15 to twenty feet to the bottom off the edge or side of the underwater point or ridge is a good place to fish for kokes. At Devil Creek Res., they seem to cruise in open water out in the middle of the res. traveling in a basic north and south direction. Fish from about 10 feet to just off bottom with a small lure tipped with a wax worm or corn or mealworm. Good luck.
