[cool][#0000ff]I think the seat is just a "sling" between the two sides of the tube. If it is like the Kennebec I had it does not get you up out of the water. But, you could put a piece of foam on top to give you some more height.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The "stabilizer bar" on the front, that holds the factory apron, is vital to keep the two front parts of the tube from collapsing in on you. You need it whether you have the apron on it or not. Just measure the distance between the two little pocket the bar inserts into and cut a piece of 3/4" PVC to fit. Actually 1/2" will work but it bends more. It should be just long/short enough to fit in the pockets before you sit back on the seat and pull it together. I don't think you can buy those as an aftermarket item but if you can you will need to look for "Trout Unlimited" Togiak Stabilizer Bar and Apron assembly.[/#0000ff]
