Crappie on the surface

I checked out the boogle bug site and I liked the solar flare and the pearly white patterns. I know for a fact that those colors will produce results on the Jordan. The wider hook gap is also a plus like you stated. Now I just wish I had something smaller than a 5-6 weight to launch flies at the crappie. It may be a blessing to have something with backbone though because you never know when you are going to hook a carp or a sizable largemouth in that river.
