EXPLORING - Brookies and other questions

If you have a vehicle that will handle the trail to Silver Lake Flat, as it could be messy in places and is always a little rough, you will find brookies in their fall colors cruising the shoreline and, possibly, in the stream above. A size 8 or 10 black woolly bugger cast parallel to the bank and stripped slowly works well. The catching may not be fast but it is usually consistent.
