Personal preference. I like 7mm bullets, they have great B.C.'s and the VLD versions are very accurate. The only different caliber I would have went with is a 7mm Dakota. My long range rig before this one was a 300 Win. Mag. and I liked it but this cartridge is a lot more efficient.

You could say why not....... 100 different calibers and always get the same answer, personal preference. Nothing wrong with a 30-378 or any of the Rum's just tons of powder with the same result....... A dead deer.
