I always wanted to fish that lake while I was living in a small town called Bear Creek Montana. It is 5 miles south of Red Lodge. 40 Min. North of Cody WY. The only lake in the area that I knew had walleye in it was one called Cooney Res. I heard of walleye up to 13 pounds caught there but I had not fished for walleye much. While I was there I fished for trout almost every day. I had not really gotten into walleye as much as I am now. Beautiful place to travel. If I had a steady tournament fishing partner I would try to make it to some out of state walleye tourneys. I think it would be a riot. I still need to tone up my skills though. [blush][][cool]
