There are Brooks up American Fork Canyon in Silver Lake Flats. Small ones. There are brooks at the top of the right fork of Hobble Creek. Park at the camp ground where the pavement ends and hike up to where the creek starts to head east. Its called Wadsworth at that point and there are lots of small ones there. Then you have Payson Lakes. Lots in the Lower and Upper lake there. For big brooks you gotta hike and drive a lot longer. Boulders, TLM, FLM, and some Uinta lakes.
About the bows from stewart falls... My family has a cabin up there at sundance and I have fished from about a half mile below the falls (Where the creek is finally ankle deep) down to the Provo. I have caught a few up to 14 but nothing bigger. I am sure the person you talked to meant there at the sundance portion. They built a little dam and planted fish that they feed. Some big ones in there but no [fishon] allowed. Good luck with the Brook quest. I had to find all that out by myself. My first threat on here about two years ago was asking the same question and I didnt get any real help... Its way fun to explore though!!
