I don't target brookies much close by because a big brookie round here is also 10-12 inches. Besides the Strawberry you might try the upper Provo. The lower elevations off Highway 150 are usually accessable during the spawn. Spawning brookies are extremely aggressive. They'll hit a streamer a half dozen times or until hooked 2 feet in front of you. Look for them in the small side channels and tributaries going into the Provo around where the North Fork of the Provo comes in and further downstream.
