I spent several years before getting a driftboat bank fishing the Clearwater. Day in and day out the float and jig is the top producer on the river for bankies. I would suggest you use 1/8 ounce jigs with white head black body, orange head black body, chartreuse head pink body, white head red body, and lastly orange head pink body. If you can't find these color schemes before you go stop by jimmy doges place on the n. Fork. He lives on the asahka loop road and has a small tackle shop he runs out of his house. I would also suggest you try the north fork, it doesn't receive the boat pressure that the main does and has excellent water for float fishing.[reply][/reply]
