If you can get permission to enter the canyon around Canyon creek (green canyon area) That is about as high as I would go. I have floated the old dam down to hog hollow many times and it can be pretty fun or scary depending on how you look at it in a pontoon boat. I have never been in any serious trouble in that stretch, but there is a potential for problems.

There is no way in heck I would float the upper canyon stretch from Felt down to Canyon Creek.[pirate]
