teton river report a couple weeks ago

Hey windriver I am new to this site and am impressed with the people here. It doesn't seem to be to much of a good old boys club like some sites. Keep up the good work.

I have wanted to float the teton in the canyon for a while but since I've heard it can be technical I haven't. I know the upper stretch is not floatable but was wondering how high you can start from. I have a watermaster which I can pack down the canyon no problem It's just the rapids I am concerned about. Have you floated it? How far up have you started from? Can you portage the spots you might have trouble with? Any info would be apriciated.
