Outcast Fat Cat Stripping Apron
#50

Sweet! Great boat. Surprised you are getting it. Last I heard they were back ordered.
According to email from Dave Scadden yesterday, they are out of 2009 models and I will get a 2010 model. Blue pontoons and blue hammerlite frame (and it is the newer X7 frame instead of the X5 they used in the 2009 model).

Quote:You do realize there is no apron while you are sitting. That is why I strip to the side and it lands on the standing platform.

Yes, I know that. I plan to be standing to fish though. I am only going to use it on stillwater.
I fish stillwater too and I'll be surprised if you stand to fish even 10% of the time. There is a time for the standing platform and a time to sit when fishing. I use the standing platform on my Outlaw probably once, maybe two times every stillwater trip. There was nice glass water days I used it a lot more though. Site casting for cruisers is great. I chironomid fish a lot so it's more convenient to sit and fish. Plus it's easier to bring in a fish whilst sitting.
You'll see what I mean the first time you take it out.

FWIW, for an anchor I use 5/16" chain in 24" lengths ( I double each length over) and use a large carabiner to hook them up. One in the back and a lighter one in front. The front one I just throw it overboard.
