Observation-Problem?
#14
Windriver - it seems to me that part of your job as moderator is to stir things up a little and it worked on me as I joined because of what you wrote.

I grew up along the Snake but now live in Boise like everybody else. Unfortunately I'm not retired like Bassnbob but have a flexible career and an understanding wife and that makes for good fishing. I've flyfished for......many, many years but have recently started to explore other techniques. So far this fall, I've thrown spoons at pinks and silvers on the Skagit River in Washington, thrown flies at rainbows on the Yakima River and the South Fork of the Boise and thrown whatever it took to catch perch at Cascade. There are some big perch in that pond this year. I'd like to try ice fishing, will be chasing after steelhead am trying to arrange a trip to Umatilla, OR where they reportedly catch huge walleye on the Columbia.

I chose my screen name because I've taught a lot of kids how to fish and, as a result, have a little experience at untangling things. I usually fish during the week because crowds & I don't get along and because I can.

Thanks for the welcome.
