I havent done it in ten years, and who knows I may again in the future. Ya know, "never say never"...
My old bow and bow reel got lost in a fire, I still have my arrow and picked up a new compound so I am short one bow reel from being back at it.
we have a number of great places in michigan to bow hunt for carp. tho I am not as apt to stand up in a flat bottom any more to let an arrow fly. [shocked] Just dont have the ballance I did in my younger daze.
dont let any one kid ya, it aint no easy sport. wind, moving fish moving boat and waves makes for some chalanging shots.
I have found the colm of early morns and evenings the best time to go after those watter buffalow.. Litty pads and submerged cat tails have sported a few carp as well.
carp are one spooky fish, much the same as a big ol' white tail buck the sightest sound or even haisty movement will spook them off a runnin for the deap.
