This forum goes through various times when we have people posting reports right and left and other times when posting traffic is down.
My definition of success for this forum is when there is a give and take of information that helps us all be more successful fishermen. I realize there are times when we might not want to spill all the beans or give out too much info on a sensitive water.
There are many of you who are very knowledgeable fishermen/women who help others learn all the time so I am not talking to you.
It just seems like in the last few months there are a lot more takers then givers on this forum. I have been watching the number of views on various posts and have noticed that we now have a huge following. For example last night I posted a report at 11:30 PM by the time I got to work at 8:00 AM my post had been viewed 122 times.
It is a free world and people can obviously come and go as they please. I am just hoping that people will be givers as well as takers. If this trend continues my fear is that many of our long time posters will quit sharing information as they have done in the past and this board will cease to be a good source and information.
