A couple of weeks ago I was supposed to take my scout group to Yellowstone for a drive and to listen to the elk bugle. For one reason or another most of them ended up dropping out so I decided to take the two who I had left fishing instead.[cool]
To make a long story short we caught lots of nice cutts a few decent bows. I caught them on dry flies mostly cricket patterns and royal wolfs. We also caught them on spinners, rapalas, worms, and just about everything else the boys had in the box.
The highlight of the afternoon was when the boys improvised and cooked up a couple of rainbows over an open fire for lunch. I thought it was a bad idea, but they did a great job and the fish were very tasty.
Here are a few pics.
