If your an oil typhoon, spend a million and buy everything down the fishing ilses and Boating and RV ilses at Bass Pro and Cabella, You can never have to much fishing stuff...[

Just to get started, go by one of those combo packeges with lures and hooks and bobber and rod and reel.
strip the line out of the reel and put in some new N40 silver thread on it and go buy a can of worms.
You will catch fish. Then if you get the enjoyment the rest of us do you can work your way up from there with quality merchandize.
