Well, with the kids coming over Saturday evening I found myself back up there Saturday morning giving it another go. I wanted to finish off what I had started on Friday before the wind blew me off.[fishin]
Sooo, I hit the water shortly after 7:00AM. I was meat hunting, and I made fairly quick work of securing 4 'bows plus a bonus fish that was released. This time the preferred patterns were in reverse from Friday with 4 fish taken on the MarmaLady and one on the Black/White. The thing that seemed to be making it work for me was using an orange bubble with a short 24" leader. It appeared that the bubble pulled them in for a closer look and the fly/crawler sealed the deal. I think I actually had some bumps on the bubble.
With a limit of trout, I tried to get something going with the Perch. I found them, but they weren't very interested in playing. But, after 3 hours of working them hard I scratched out a limit.
All this provided for a most excellent fish fry with the fambly Saturday night! Thanks for all of your help and ideas Pat![cool]
