I would bring your kayak FOR SURE!! The water levels i think are down enough maybe you could walk around and get to them but i think you would have a WAY better chance at them floating around..I was up there just checking things out for a drive and you could see them rise up and pop there heads out of the water for a minute and go under... i was watching them with my bino's it was way cool looking... (this was very early in the morning say around 8ish am) If you do go and do any good let me know would you? I always wanted to hit them but never got around to it... I've been told that some have been hooked up but nothing the legal size to keep.. GOOD LUCK..
