poor elk opener 4 us. how was your,s?

i got charged by a moose the last time i hunted there. right next to the pond below the spring. lots of elk hang in that place. but its spike only. i cant hunt for spikes. i will shoot one but would rather shoot any bull i see so i hunt open bull units. spikes taist a million times better than older bulls so i dont blame people for liking to shoot them.[
