Welcome to the BigFishTackle.Com message boards. Its been a long time since I fished the Kern but always had a blast there! My son caught his first Trout on the river. We always slayed'em on Wardens Rooster Tails. One of the advertisers on this site makes SparkleFish Lures which I think would also work well. Thanks for the report and keep us posted.
