I am back. Due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances I only got to go fishing a couple of times.
I looked at Rock Creek, but it was muddy and high from the rain and snow melt, so I didn't try it this time.
I did get to spend some time a Dierke Lake. I caught lots of trout in the 12 to 13 inch range. They must have just stocked it again recently. I couldn't keep them off the hook, which is NOT a bad thing. I also caught some very small bluegills. I didn't know a fish that small would grab a fly that big! I didn't catch a single bass. I think that they don't like me. But I did catch a very nice 17 inch albino trout right next to the swimming docks. On his first jump he actually hit under the dock!
I also spent a short time at Oster lakes. Caught a couple of trout, but didn't have much time to explore.
Thanks to all of you--for the great info and advice!!
