There used to be cohos in Idaho, they went extinct a couple of decades ago, but they are starting to make a comeback thanks to the tribe(s?) in northern Idaho, I know the Nez Perce has put a good effort into it, and they are starting to get returns now, just not enough to fish for yet. I've helped pit tag some coho jouveniles up in a trib of the clearwater, that was pretty cool. I agree that it would be awesome if they got some good runs reestablished!
