I have found the fishing there overall to be slow but sure would appreciate any tips myself. It does seem that shore fisherman in the spring and fall do ok fishing bait. Most of my experience is at the east end near the salt/snake inlets and murphy creek inlet. I fish a small boat without a motor and have watched shore fisherman out catch me on some days.
