[font "Times New Roman"]There are steelies in the PA streams right now. If you live any distance, I would wait 2 o 3 weeks for even more fish to enter the tribs. My first trips of every year start around the 2nd to 3rd week of October and I keep going up until March or so. Watch the weather and talk to veteran Steelheaders. If this will be your first time, get off of Rt. 79 and head west on Rt. 5, there you will find several tackle shops. Do what I did my first trip many years ago. Go into a tackle shop say ”this is my first trip. Where do I go and what do I do.” They will steer you where you need to be. Then talk to everyone who looks like he knows what he or she is doing.
