The All Star breakaway rods looks pretty sweet and have good reviews. I'd go with that. You're not going to have any problems chunking bait and lures with either rod though.
Not sure how far you've got to cast, but if you start ripping the rod too much, and you're using live/ cut pogeys, they are not going to stay on the hook. Mullet might be the better choice. (if it's still running up there) I know the mullet and pogeys both are thick along our coast right now. SC coast that is.
