Not a bad idea. I can see that. Allot of people don't venture away from launch in a tube for fear it will be too hard to get back. That is where the pontoon stepped up with the kicking or the rowing.
This just opened up a whole new way. If I still had a tube I know I would be going farther realizing I CAN get back to shore even in the wind.
I would wonder if some water goes into the waders however, and waste highs are definitely out.

Just hope people are careful doing this, I see someone sliding off and not being able to get back on, or loosing allot of gear.
