[cool][#0000ff]I truly hope that your son can properly file this memory and bring it up only to laugh at himself...not to beat himself up over the situation. I think all of us make mistakes that overwhelm us with shock and embarassment at the time. The key is to realize that they WERE accidents and that they should be treated as learning experiences...to help us think things through more thoroughly before simply acting on an impulse.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I sympathize with your son because I have had my share of world-ending catastrophes...which turned out to be far more traumatizing to me than to the ones who suffered the results of my blunders. In fact, I have had recurring nightmares throughout my long life about things that happened MANY years ago, when I was just a kid. And, most of the things I still cringe at remembering were kinda silly and harmless. But, they made a huge impression upon me at the time and they are impossible to completely delete from my database. Funny how the mind works.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I also look forward to meeting you...especially if I can indeed help put your ride back in working order. I am optimistic that it is quite repairable, with the proper materials and procedures.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]You are right about the destroyed tube. Only stuff. A speedbump in the road of life. Much easier replaced than damaged body parts.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Good luck. Hope you guys hammer the fish.[/#0000ff]
