Yea, leave it to my hero TD for the positive take!
We have some lakes in the south that are prime for 'tubes and 'toons because all gas motors are banned. No noise, exhaust fumes, wakes, and the DUIs can only bump your tube when out of control, at most.[
] Sometimes the shore fishing is limited to the very small launch area due to being surrounded by private property. Also, some rivers are like that, where shore fishing is limited to tiny areas of public access around bridges. Sometimes paying for private access is the only option on public water because the next distant public access point is too far away.
I know what you mean about FT on the brain, TD. Don't leave home without one, may just run into some unexplored water....

Second, you DO have that option and should be properly grateful whenever and wherever you can launch your tube and get away from the garbage on the bank...and can enjoy the quality of fishing provided by your float tube.[/#0000ff]
