Thanks for the replies guys. Wish I'd had more time to pick your brains. We went to Canyon Ferry Lake near Helena, Mt. on Monday. Got rained out this morning (Friday) so we came on home. I caught a couple of walleye on a bottom bouncer and worm, but they were pretty small. We did get some nice trout, using lead core line and a pink wobbling lure down about 40 feet. Not my favorite kind of fishing, but it's all good. Saw some different country, and met some pretty nice folks. The lures we caught the fish on, were given to us by some local fishermen. The sport shops we tried didn't have a pink lure left on their racks, so we pretty well got the idea that pink was the go-to color. All-in-all, a pretty good trip.
