There are also some sites that will provide you with current CFS which can be quite helpful. The first time I went to the LO the water was over the banks, coffee brown and moving like hell. With the temps hovering around 90º I decided to head west for a cool alpine lake. Boy did I get a surprise at the temp was about 26º and the water around 38º. Cold as it was, the wild trouts [browns, brookies & bows] were hitting dries. The next day they wanted something different, so I switch to a zebra midge under an elk hair caddis which was the fly dejour. Go figure.[/size][/#008000][/font]
