I grew up in Malad, Id, fishing nearly every body of water including the dreaded Malad River. I especially liked to go bow fishing in the Malad River for carp in the summer. Good times! I liked going to Deep Creek and Weston because we could scout for deer and elk while fishing. I caught quite a few lunkers in Daniels from time to time too.
I now live in Nampa and call the Treasure Valley home. I want to get into kokes in the worst way (, ). If I had to pick a favorite spot for trout, my pick is the NF of the Boise River. They're small but lots of them! I don't know how to fish for bass but luck out and catch one every once in a while.
I love Idaho and all it has to offer, including salmon and steelhead fishing.
